Hi everyone, I've just read the Fink books on ironman training and wonder if there is a specific HIM training one too or do you just follow the plan until you hit the HIM mark? I've not done HIM before and am entered to the Vitruvian 2014. I'd love to do a full IM but want to survive the HIM first I think without toooooo much damage.

HIM training is usually more like Oly training with a few longer sessions rather than the focus on endurance that you have with IM training and therefore Fink's plan - but that's not to say you couldn't follow Fink's plan to build up to the distance.
Ooooohhhh right. Better then if I start with an oly plan to say June then just go longer June-August? Hmmmmm.
