I have used the same turbo tyre for a few years now, they last forever and are quite a bit less noisy which is handy if you are watching a film or have the ipod on. My hearing is quite ropey so any noise reduction is good.
Retired AND going to IMF and still taking the piss. I must really have put some nasty hills in at some point to warrant this! Must put in something where you actually have to go up a bit next time! Have a good one Siggy!

You are supposed to put it on the back wheel though Dusty......
You are supposed to put it on the back wheel though Dusty......
LOL!!
Hope you're well Dusty and have a good Christmas! Bought myself some new wheels the other day, with ceramic bearings! From your recommendation, of course!!
Havn't read through advice, prob already mentioned. As soon as you get the new tyre you should stretch it and then ut it on the wheel and leave it there for a few days. Then give it another stretch prior to applying your tape or x2 glue.

You'll have the fastest wheelchair in the home, Siggy
Changed from a mag to an elastogel trainer and couldn't believe the difference. Now the noisiest things are my knees.
Aye, I will! Might have to do some training to beat you though!!
What wheels did you get Siggy? Downhill on ceramics, you might even challenge FB's speed record!
I got some Flo 30's! Didn't think I went fast enough to justify the 60's!!
