Stopping to clear the contents of your nose is not welcome if in close proximity the other participants.
Its important to outline your intentions early and enter ASAP. Otherwise spaces fill up quickly and you are left dissapointed.
although as pointed out earlier people often pull out and you might be able to take their slot.
Always take imodium before you start.
You can always DNF if you are finding it hard going but you are probably going to disappoint others if you do.
