I have Vegas on 16 Nov and as try-hard (as oppose) natural runner if it's as bumpy as the name suggests, I might be taking on too much but I really like the idea of the race!
i was suprised it was nowhere as hilly as i thoought as it follows the road around snowdon some long nut not to steep climbs i thought the Cornish Marathon was much tougher that said the two close together could be grim unless you take Snowdonia as s long training run and bimble round taking in the views
its an awesome race in a superb part of the country cant wait
Yep, I'm in to hopefully use some end if season fitness, and keep the focus going after Tenby. It'll be my first marathon on fresh legs, so thought id try an 'easy' one
She who knows best has suggested I don't jeopardise Vegas by entering Snowdonia marathon which, accordingly to my fleeting research on t'internet, is 29 miles long when hills are converted to distance covered on comparative flat elevation. Bloody hell!
Whilst jealous of those who've entered, I plan to be on the start line in 2015.
Robbie its 26.2 couses are measured with a wheel which takes into account the actual distance travelled no way would i have run the time i did in 2008 on that course if it was over 26,2
So the bad news is I'm going to miss Las Vegas Marathon in November & the Pirate social outing in London on 24 October. The good news is I'm now running the Snowdonia Marathon. See you the RBM!

Have you done it before?

I'm in too, last race of the season before winter hibernation.

If you have a marathon three weeks later - its silly to race them both though.
