MC - Mouser and myself did the 5k swim last year and it was, still is and always will be the longest i've ever swum, thank god i didn't pay for it as it was boring as..and you do an Aussie exit at half way and i nearly didn't get back in.
Raf's right the bar runs out of beer....so stock up and make sure he doesn't tip his beer in Waff's handbag again please.
Just to warn you, at the outlaw half the bar wasn't there, they have changed it and its a breakfast area, there was an emergency bar further round the complex
Sorry, I didn't have the big computer on over the weekend so no Excel and no spreadsheet. I'm just catching up now...
EDIT: all updated, so everyone who has sent me info should have received confirmation.
And the request for info once more:
Just had an e-mail from the Outlaw crew. The usual drill, we need to give them some info. When you have a chance please would you DM me with your real name, t-shirt size (they are not male/female specific so your size in a men's t-shirt), if you want to do one of the Saturday swims (for free), what distance you want to do (1.5k/3k/5k) and your e-mail address and finally, if you want to camp.
If you've not done the feedstation before, the goody bag is lovely. The tshirts are nice, there's usually a little gift in there and a food parcel. They bring sandwiches round in a van on the day to keep them fresh.
We need to send that info over early July, so I'll do some reminder posts nearer the time.
If your name is on the list please send me a PM with the above details so that we can organise on your behalf. Not only does PMing me ensure that you get the added extras like a free swim and camping (if required) but it also means that you get a goody bag (which include a big food parcel) and some sandwiches/rolls and hot food on the day.
OSB are pretty hot at looking after their marshals. They work hard to ensure that there are a variety of food options available including veggie options and special dietary requirements. So please send me your info to ensure you get some grub!
Actually, if you have messaged me already and have any dietary requirements please let me know (don't worry about veggie, a range of veggie options are automatically included).
OSB want the volunteer info in early July, so if you haven't yet messaged me as per the request at the top of the page, please will you do so ASAP. Meldy and I need to get the info over to them pretty soon after we get back from Nice (if we actually get there, of course!)
Really sorry that I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to drop out - Mr Podds appears to have accepted a family invite from "his lot" and even if I could get out of it I've got 3 greyhounds and nowhere to put them if he's away from home!
Will double check with him tonight and post back here
I'll be back in the UK over that weekend so assuming a) I can get the weekend off work, and b) can't blag a miracle race entry, I'd be up for helping out if late entries for helpers are still being accepted. A lift from London and a bed would help, but can work on those minor details

No bar?....that's a justified reason to pull out of the race i reckon....especially with the pub down the road shut too..
how about a skip ?
The Saturday swim is the PSOF Swim Champs ... 3k
Don't need an ice bucket for whisky
I've sent OH's details by PM Mouse. Did you get them?
Hi Ghost

I'd better read back!
can me and Hope request some tea please ?
Just a small point but please ensure if you are on the feedstation that you are dressed correctly...the wearing of jockstraps is strictly forbidden
Commando this year then FF?
unless you are well hung
Hope - no need to read back. I've been cut and pasting to the top of each page.
Frags - bring your mug
FF - I don't think anyone will every outdo your outfit.
You wait till next years feed station when i'm not racing....i've got a really good idea...
Can I request that no one ever actually attempts to out do FF's outfit last year! My OH still has nightmares and indiscriminate flashbacks
