At the time I thought My Little Eye was one of the most terrifying films I'd ever seen. When I watched it again, it didn't have the same effect, so it must have been the shock factor.
I thought The Crying Game wasn't such a great film the second time I saw that too.
I've not see Eden Lake, I might look it out.
I'm shockingly bad at predicting plot twists. I *never* see them coming.
Did anyone actually guess how Lester Burnham would die at the end of "American Beauty?" I thought that was quite a surprise.
Actually Kevin Spacey does a lot of those doesn't he? "K-Pax" - is he really who he claims to be? "The Life of David Gale" - how did she do it? "Usual Suspects" etc. etc...
Lady Slugge would put in a vote for LOTR: Fellowship Of The Ring when we went to see it on first release at cinema, as she didn't know it was the first part of a trilogy
Not my favourite, but Arlington Road had a big plot twist at the end. When I saw it, a couple turned up early for the next showing, so sat through the last 10 minutes then sat and waited to see the movie knowing how it ended. I always use that as an excuse for not getting places too early.
I worked out the twist in Sixth Sense so early that it came as a shock to me that we weren't supposed to have worked that out earlier. So I basically did the rewatch the first time I saw it, knowing nothing about it in advance.
My favourite twist is He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not - a film it's almost impossible to describe without ruining it.

Not seen that one either actually
I don't remember the ending of "Inside Man." I do remember not liking it though, so I probably picked up a book, got the laptop out or fell asleep

I was genuinely impressed by the ending of Toy Story 3.
Have to say, James Patterson's book "Don't step on a crack" is one of the very few books I have ever read that kept me guessing almost to the end.
A couple of television series season finales have us crying "Noooooooooooo!!!" Especially when we find that the series has then been cancelled.
Jacob's Ladder was a good one for a surprise ending. I've only watched it once as now I know the ending it spoils the rest.
the final season of The Shield and what happens to Shane's family. when it happened i was stunned.
No Way Out (1987)
