Garmin 910xt swim question

I use my 910xt for my swim sessions but find that when finishing a length it takes a while to read this last length, sometimes up to 30 secs before it reads . Is this normal ?

Mine takes a while but not that long. Guess it's working out if you have finished the length, changed stroke, resting half way..........
Mine is pretty instant. I often glance at it as I turnaround and see it change.
Have you got the latest firmware on it, I found that all round the 910 improved dramatically for swimming with the last update.
