I returned a pair of gt2000 to asics last week. They were my 4th pair but had a defect. Asics have replaced them with v2. Just doing some research on them and asics own site describes them as being for a neutral runner. The GT series has always been for mild over pronation.
I don't want to start wearing them and find them unsuitable. Interested in any comments from anyone who has gone to these from gt2000?

According to the us site normal or moderate pronation.

i thought same as before? with 3000 for extreme over pronation
That would be as before then. Asics UK had them graded as neutral. Whilst I am only a mild pronator, I recently tried a neutral asics shoe and it just didn't work.
I have the GT 2000 V2, very happy with them, and I over pronate, however I cannot compare against the GT2000 as i never tried, I switched from the adidas sequence to these and far happier now..done about 200miles in them, no gripes at all
