I have vowed never to criticise the BBc coverage of road racing ever again. What terrible coverage. The men had one head on camera shots for most of the race where you had no idea what anyone was doing. The commentator totally missed the one defining moment of the race where Mo Farah was tripped. Looks like an Indian runner will win called Joffrey(Geoffrey) Mutai. Also the Great North Run is run in Sheffield, apparently.

Yes, I can see they are broadcasting the american coverage. Hence it makes you appreciate our home coverage. They just put an american flag next to Mo Farah's name on the leaderboard. A dull race since we were cheated of a battle between Mutai and Farah by a trip. Commentator said it was no-one's fault, that is just racing. A stupid statement. Mo was just running in a straight line and the guy from behind who never even had an elite number clipped his leg. How can it not be the fault of the guy behind?
Real shame for Mo as I'm convinced it would have been a great battle for the finish line. But well done for finishing in second place.
I think 61m does seem to be around his speed, as he collapsed after the finish and was wheeled off in a wheelchair, says he's fine, but don't think half marathon is his distance
Yeah but
He fell
He's in marathon training
The race started at 6:30am
It was -1 degrees brrrrrr!!
None of them may have affected him but they would all have affected my performance.

A little more excited reaction from the daily fail

SFF. That sounds like my usual excuse list.
A guy runs low 61 in freezing conditions after falling and you decide HM isn't his distance?
Hmmmmm…..interesting conclusion!
A full 8 seconds slower than his own British record (after falling over). Slacker. Maybe he should take up boxing or summink.
What's so excited about the DM article? It's just like the BBC one but with more pictures, and a load of predictably moronic comments afterwards.
I had a minor domestic with Mr Shazmo as he made me venture out of the house on Sunday. I then had a news blackout, waited till 7.30 that evening it to reappear on the red button. What a pile of dog poo the American coverage was.
I actually thought it was Ron Burgundy commentating a la Curling at Sochi! Think he'd have done a better job.
"Haven't you run before?"

Is the person in the DM comments serious when they say respect to anyone who can run 26 miles in just over an hour?!
To be fair, I'd have utmost respect for anyone who could run 26 miles in just over an hour!
[Leans forward closer to try and establish that she must have said something else] 'sorry??'
