Right hand side of road just before Mudchute. I will have a hand crafted sign with 5 on it - or failing that just pass no.s 1-4 and go for the blank space with me in it.
Thanks SRA i did a half with the costume on -- the ears stayed on and was just a bit sweaty (well, a bit more than usual!) so am pleased!
There are big signs with numbers on them for the support groups (we totally sound like we are part of an addiction group...!)....
Also look out for my mum and dad at 33km if you want some more support --- they will have a big Jersey flag and jelly babies just before the Blackwall tunnel (well they better have hehehe!) x
Been tardy again, here is a pic of me in Sunday's kit, hoping to just dash past you and hear you cheering but if I do stop will be in need of TLC and possibly, if any is going spare, alcohol. Sure it wont come to that though
Can I thank you all in advance for your wonderful support and wish my fellow runners the best.
Hi - I understand you still have space for a runner. I am really grateful. I am 45 and will be running with a MacMillan vest. I am aiming for a time of around 4:45. I am attending the expo on Friday. Thanks!!
Whoop! SRA -- tutu to match your hair - YES! If you can't do it at VLM, when can you?! Best of luck all... Mattoo i'm thinking alcohol is probably the way forward...
Yey! Running gear (plus Minnie) is now packed -- sigh of relief...! Heading to expo on Sat, where i'm sure it will be mobbed. Standard. All very exciting!
Redhead yes it is me from B&W - I went into that Marathon knowing it would be a a challenge I'd only managed 16 miles in training owing to the curse of the ITB
I shall be there on Sunday with my Sloth t-shirt and a glass (or can) of liquid refreshment trying to get rid of jelly babies....
Hi JD I feel your pain re the ITB as I suffered from that for my first year of marathoning.
BBH or SuperCaz, whoever picks things up from the RW stand, I took a photo of my little package but I can't upload it, sorry. It's a little blue plastic bag with "Mudchute Support Group 5, Redhead" on the front. It's got 2 balls of emergency yarn for me inside but if you undo and have a look threes a little packet of sweeties for you guys too (nothing special I'm afraid as I was in a mad rush to get to an interview).
Please can you let me know if it's there when you've collected everything so I can bring more yarn with me if it isn't?
I had a nightmare of a train journey to get into London as there were signalling and line problems at London Bridge and there was a 45 minute delay to get in there and then they announced that the train wouldn't be stopping at London Bridge and we should go to Waterloo and get a train back to LB. Given that there weren't any trains coming out of Charing Cross this seemed a rather strange suggestion so I took the Jubilee line to LB (I hate the tube!!!) - I had to go the the press office at Tower Bridge before going to the Expo so I couldn't avoid it. Coming home was like a comedy sketch with cancellations and platform changes etc etc.
Don't worry - as I said before there is a rota for supporters to collect stuff from Expo regardless of Group. If you've already left your stuff I'll check with whoever is most likely to pick it up that they do in fact have it safe.

OK then, so where am I supposed to be looking out for you guys?! It's mile 17 by Mudchute tube station? Which side of the road will you be on?!
from last year, i recall you guys were on the right hand side....
Stil can't upload pic as it's too big... i'm not technologically minded!
It's sooooon! x
oh, hang on - i *think* i've managed to make it my profile picture!! Hehe... hope you can see... thanks so much you guys!x
I was just about to ask the EXACT same question.
Are all the RW Support teams on the same side of the road ?
How do we know which batch of supporters is #5 (I feel there may be a very obvious answer to this...)
I think each support crew will have a sign with their number on. But side of the road would be helpful - I expect it will be crowded.
K-Dawg - you look AWESOMESAUCE!

Went to the Expo yesterday, but didn't leave anything on the stand. That bit is all sorted with others Family supporters.
Can't wait
mattoo - I'll spare you a slurp of my cider if you're in reall need.

I need wine now
I feel your pain Redhead it took me 25 minutes longer than usual to get home last night from Charing Cross because of "operating incidents"
Wine sounds good - though probably not a good idea to drink at my desk

Thanks BBH
I'll make a final check tomorrow for any last minute requests....
Thanks BBH
It's getting exciting....
Spent a small fortune at the Expo but it was brilliant fun
See you all on Sunday !
EXPO EXPO! am ready to jet off this evening, am ridiculously excited! Out of office is on... bring on the fun!x
Did the expo this afternoon - collected my number and dropped off my pack for the support crew.
I didn't spy any bargains or anything exciting, so just stocked up on gels.
Morning running peeps! This time tomorrow I"ll be on my way to Londonium
