PSOF's Website

Hi Team,

As well as being a wannabe Pirate I also own a web design and hosting company Web Design Scotland

I know that the Group website http://www.pirateshipoffools.co.uk/  is no longer kept up-to-date and would be more than happy to take over the updates of the website if you all feel it would be of benefit to the members. If you do, can the current admin/owner of the site please contact me with the details.

Thanks and see you all at The Outlaw. Oh, I'm just helping at it as part of the Pirates bike course team mind you.

  • Sounds like a willing volunteer!! I think Orange Cannon has the keys at the moment but they are lounging around in Lanza, I am sure he would welcome some help/support of some kind!
  • can you make you first job taking a couple of stone and a few more years off any photos of me please.......some of these photographers just don't know how to take a decent photo...image

  • seren nos - DONE! You can pay me later.

  • It would be nice to have a gallery for races/socials that we can upload to...there are some great photos in circulation and would great to have them in one place.

  • but not that photo pleaseimage

  • Or the 'latest' one either please!  There isn't enough brain bleach in the world for more exposure like that!!  image

  • A wannabee pirate? Is there a qualifying factor? Like you need to look hideous in yellow lycra or something?

  • Full frontal lobotomy is an entry qualification.

Pretty much Phillis ... yes !

  • I think we have swapped caretakers many times ...  although I do think we need to wait and see what OC has to say image

  • I'm sure you can keep a couple of caretakers/admins in place, like double bank signatures on those old fashioned things called checks.

a fresh facelift would be good.

  • Erm, I am also supposedly involved in the admin of the PSOf website although it has been in a completely 'inactive' capacity to date image

I normally get round to updating it twice a year as I am a lazy bugger.....

Any help from anyone is appreciated...
PM me if interested and I'll see what I can do to get you admin rights so you can edit / add content.

If anyone else has ideas  / thoughts for content then please shout.

    Yeah Right !

You'll be telling us next that Barlos, Meldy and Seren really exist

  • I have been thinking and this, for me, is slightly resonating with the discussion on the latest kit order thread.

I appreciate that its nice to have photos of the annual PSOF champs and the awards register, but does the website need to be more than that, especially where the forum is where the interaction is supposed to take place.

It has been run perfectly with twice-yearly updates and just question whether anything more is really necessary

    Just my view.....
