What about that other girl with the dubious split times? I can't remember her name but I'm sure someone will be able to... Oh, and what about people who ran with a number that clearly wasn't their own?
Im just glad Jason Scotland Williams achievements in 2012 haven't been erased from our memories and our hearts. I will always remember where I was the day he ran a 1:19 second half of the race, and luckily so will everyone else as the organisers keep his record for everyone to see.
Funnily enough, I've moved up six places in the ladies race. That's strange on two counts: one is obvious, the other is that I didn't run and didn't have a place.
Mr I - don't forget our bearded lady in the 2012 race too (#30212)
Ahh thats true. Her time still standing for Brighton as well. Apparently the organisers believe someone who has just been an also ran in all the other marathons she did posted the 4th fastest 2nd half of the race.
In fact in the 2013 Brighton marathon, the 4th placed overall female ran a 1:27 second half of the race. Our favourite club runner in the very same race posted a 1:23 second half. Not bad for a club runner who had not posted any marathon times of any distinction for the past several years (or since).
Its weird that people in Britain care remotely about eurovision. we'll never win. Its always naff songs, its quite bizarre it still gets a reasonable following each year.
I refuse to watch unless Cliff Richard gets another go.

That's precisely why people watch it - haven't you realised that? Also, lots of those people are gay.

Any announcement though?
Nope.
Frank Staples' result has been removed too.
I note on their news page that they've released a statement about Liliya Shobukhova, so they're not averse to mentioning cheats.
Is Frank Staples the, er, older feller?
Yes, that's right.
I suppose the point about elites that cheat is that they are doing it for financial and professional gain.
A cheat's a cheat. I'd hate to think that I'd slogged my guts out and someone had 'run faster' by hopping over a barrier.
The old thread even got a lot of commentary on Tonys Trials on Marathon talk last week.
I've gained a place (in the women's race).

No idea, all I did was look at the results.
Made me laugh when Tony kept referring to him as Muttley, I hope our Muttley isn't offended

His Facebook page has now reopened, him standing there in all his false "glory".
Hopefully he will bugger off to Spain like his little sidekick said he intended to do in the old thread.
I pity Spain.
WTF is that thing at the top?
"You must show no mercy...nor have any belief whatsoever...in how others judge you...for you greatness will silence them all"
I mean, seriously?

Gay men.
