who was the bass player with Level 42 ? Mark someone..my memory is terrible. he used to have his guitar right up under his neck when he played ! good though. i think i've got the 'Running in the family' album somewhere.

Into the the 80's, I loved the Cult and can anyone remember Bauhaus?
very true, mind you there were a lot of imposters then.
Just going back to the 70s how about The Buzzcocks, Promises was a much better song than Ever Fallen In Love With Someone, XTC's first single Science Friction, was a very punky affair. And how could we forget X Ray Spex, Oh Bondage Up Yours and Germ Free Adolescents

Right enough about the Buzzcocks though. Went to see them in 1979 - Joy Division were the support, so how good was that!!
Never that keen on XTC, but X Ray Spex were good.
