  • Crooky are you the guy I passed on the bike at Outlaw who had also done IMUK last week?
  • No not me mate

    i don't think I could do 2 in a week

  • Graeme - I suspect that was Pudge

  • Pudge did imuk and he did the imuk as part of the relay
  • Hope you have your 50+ sunscreen Crooky!! image

  • There's been no racing for me this year due to injury - so my whole focus is to get to the start line of IM Austria fit and in one piece

  • Short term

Plymouth breakwater swim 2 1/2 miles in August

    Snowdonia Marathon in October

Then nothing at all for 2015 recharge my batteries, work on my limitaions and generally have fun and save up for Lanza 2016 image

Really? Sounds so much like my plan, IM Wales again this year, then nothing in 2015 to let the body recover then IM Lanza 2016, sounds like a nice little sailing going to Lanza 2016, should be something special as its the 25th anniversary race

  • yep, me too... i'm going to do a couple of HIM in 2015... maybe the Vit, maybe Staffs 70.3...and then IM Lanza in 2016

lets be honest.... its all prep for an Ironman on my 100th birthday

Great stuff, so far that's 8 of us in for IM Lanza in 2016

  • Short term, Macclesfield half marathon, Leeds olympic triathlon and Portsmouth marathon. I am not going to do an Ironman in 2015 but I think I am interested in Lanza 2016 too.

  • What next?? Beer!!!

  • Nothing planned for now, was thinking of the brutal half in sept as it was fun last year but feel a bit flat at the moment. Austria next year for me to. Lanza in 2016 is on my to do list also.

  • Challenge Weymouth is next for me.

Haven't decided fully about 2015 yet. I've already signed up for Grafman and after this weekend I'll be having another go at Outlaw (and even if I didn't want to I'd have to go to Outlaw again as the Cheggers Wife & Children are looking forward to doing the feed station again).

We are based in Macc, give us a shout nearer the time and we can meet up

  • Looks like we will need to register early for Lanza 2016. Lots entering.
  • Think I am in for Lanza 2016

  • Yet to do this years race, but IM Mont Tremblant next year looks likely!

  • Got the Midnight Man Iron distance the weekend of the 16th August...hoping the lack of heat might help me.

  • I've got London Standard Distance this Sunday, a sprint at the end of Aug in Daventry, Challenge Weymouth half in Sept and Leicester Marathon in October.

Next year the aim is to go for my first full IM distance at the Outlaw.

  • Lichfield Sprint in six weeks, Birmingham half mara in Oct, May try to find another event before end of season, not sure yet. Definitely looking at the Outlaw next year, my first IM distance also.
  • Vit half end of August, equinox 24 hr September, then nothing planned. Have got a ballot in for London, but not holding much hope for that.

next year prob gonna do some olys as and when I can fit em in, then, in the summer, I have a bike ride from Wales to Istanbul planned with a 2 night stop off in Klagenfurt for the champs.

  • mojo is back

    so IM barcelona in Oct,
Austria, then IM UK in july (3 weeks apart... how hard can it be??)

Thn thinking of something really silly  in august.....  evertything else is training for this

  • Just Plod On, if you're in the West Midlands, then a short hop over to Keyworth in December for the half is well worth the trip.
  • Looks good Graemek, unfortunately I'm working and all my days off in Dec are already booked, thanks for the heads up, hadn't heard of this event.

Ride London, a couple of marathons then IMAustria in 2015

  • Cotswold Big Swim in August, IM Wales in Sept, off-road season then was thinking of Outlaw next year and Lanza in 2016 image

  • Were looking for a marathon later this year, maybe Robin Hood, next year the Avenger, Outlaw, Challenge Weymouth, possibly Lanza 2016
