Well that was the biggest waste of a morning. Got half way through registering twice and it crashed on me both times. Outlaw shmoutlaw. Who needs the Outlaw half when there's the DIY HALF! Bring on Macclesfield

So I'm at work and no-one here seems to understand my excitement - so popping in here to say that I got entered into the Outlaw Half this morning - first middle distance event! Am I mad? Seems to be quite a few on here doing it?

Can't remember exactly Swimming Cat, but I know it is 1:10 for the swim, plus 10 mins to get out of T1. The details will be on the OSB website. Think overall it is 8:30hrs or something like that?
Have a look at this year's results, I suspectvery few got close to the cut offs and unless you're going to miss them by miles, I'm sure they'll do everything they can to avoid hauling you off the course,
From this year's results, the slowest going into T2 was under 5:20, so maybe 4 hours for the bike on top of the 1:20 swim/T1? Slowest finisher was 8:51 or something so probably a 9 hour final cutoff i.e. 3:30 for the run section.
I reckon I can do the run in 3 hours which gives me 40 minutes for T2.
