For some reason I have a mental block about "ninety". It's really annoying on the off chance that I have to write a cheque for "Ninety-nine pounds and ninety-nine pence".
I nearly always want to write "ninty" and I really don't know why.

There's a solution to that!
Given that the only cheques I write these days are to utility companies I always round the amount up to whatever is quicker to write and fits in the tiny space - it just comes off your next bill.
I the case above. I'd make the cheque out for one hundred pounds - sorted
Why oh why oh why can the works canteen toaster, not toast bread? It eithers comes out as warm bread or incinerated. From next week I'm making my own porridge so I'm no longer disappointed on a daily basis.
Try realising you misunderstood what many words mean. Think I'm nuts? Check it out next time you see a word, that you're not 100% sure about. So often we see a word in a context and think we know what it means, but we get it wrong.
What happened to Samir Haddad after his ban? Has he qualified for Rio yet? And who was the woman from Abingdon way who pi55ed everyone off? Has she reappeared? Had a picture with an odd running style but a nice bum when she passed me in a race? I can remember everything bar her name....
Disappointments? My bloody iPad thinking it knows how to spell.

Now that I no longer have any hair, I don't get to spend as long in the shower. I used to love my long showers and it was my time to myself without any pressures. Washing my cares away so to speak.
Weird- I typed out a post and it just disappeared???
Here we go again.... My missus is ill. Been going back and forth to hospital. Got her home and thought that would be it. Er, nope. Have to deal with the kids trying to kill each other, doing the cooking and other jobs that I don't usually have to do (so it's all awkward and slow).
Between the earlier attempt at this post and this one, she's asked me to go out and put petrol in the car in case she needs it whilst I'm at work tomorrow.
Wanted to go swimming today but it was actually quite windy down on the sea front. Large waves strong wind and strong current. Not so good when you are nursing an injured shoulder, so I didn't swim.

now you have reminded me of the best thread ever with ricky benison and his vases.all about hell striking is wrong as its hitting and violence
Starts out weird, gets weirder!

And Lister, Rimmer, Kryton and Cat.
Thst nothing, I have to type the word "polyethylene" on a regular basis
"Fuchsia" is the one I always have to think about.

I've used the word rhythm twice this week and had to look it up each time cos it was underlined in red squigglyness. (I missed the first h, innit.)
Now the bastards don't like the word squigglyness!
That's cos you made it up
Here's a thought - when a new word gets accepted into the OED do spellcheckers automatically update?

I can't spell validation. Which is what I do. I also can't spell indicator, which is what I validate
first food tried in 24 hrs.........it didn't stay long
Until very recently I didn't realise that definately was incorrect spelling and the correct spelling is definitely.

Start with travesty, ironic and moot.

Speak for yourself.
Day 2 of the Reading Festival and it still hasn't pissed it down despite my rain dances

Showering without hair just isn't the same

Oh the humaninty
she's at it.
if she is well enough to go out in the car tomorrow she is well enough to be doing the cooking and other jobs today.
Mastercard systems going screwy whilst trying to enter a race. Bad combination!

Fell over whilst running today. I now have a hole in a pair of leggings, thankfully I only paid half price for them, but still bloody annoying.
Oh and sore knee.
Liverpool's defending.
Liverpool's attacking.
