Hi
Recently I have been wearing a Skechers GoBionic for everyday work wear and found them to be super comfy especially round the toes. I have tried them for running and as I have hammer toes they are great and I have completely noticed the difference when running that toes no longer get sore but they aren't supportive enough for my pronation and my knees - I don't think I can handle them for much long distance. I usually wear Mizuno wave Paradox as they are great for support and have a relatively wide toes space but I still get sore toes with these (even though I wear a size up). Does anyone know of a shoe that is a combo of the supportiveness of the Mizuno with the openness of the Skechers toes? Or can recommend a good shoe for hammer toes?

What are hammer toes? (u can't touch this)
The second and third toes are bent upwards and curl over so I am constantly running with curled up toes, becomes quite painful, the skin on the front of the toes gets worn and any downhill means I often get bruised black toenails and am always losing them. With wide toes they have room to splay outwards but with cosy toes space they end up even more bent.
Not that I necessarily endorse them but CorrectToes has a shoelist that have a big enough toe box to accommodate their spacers, which might be useful for you.
Thanks SteveCRunner - the altra's look good am going to give them a try.
I went to a presentation a couple of years back about the Mizuno Be - might be worth looking into. They are trainer style shoes but NOT for running in, from memory.
