The Counts Diet Support Thread

Well happy new year to all...I'm back after a lovely long Christmas break and a week in the sun eating out for lunch and dinner every day. Not only have a dented my bank balance but I've made a large deposit around my midrift!

So the aim is to loose 1 1/2 stone. Firstly I need to get rid of the extra 1/2 stone that I've gained in about 3 weeks (so I can comfortably wear my clothes) then to gradually loose some of this excess lard I've been carrying for too long.

So I intend to use this thread to PUBLICALLY track my weight.

Starting Week - Count's weight count = 13 1/2 stone (1 1/2 stone to loose).

  • Erm! I'm with you.
    I put on about 7-8 pounds on Xmas.
    Need to lose that plus the other 1 1/2 stone that would get me just on to the 16 stone mark! ( By FLM?)

  • Right - feel free to add your targets and track your progress. Obviously I'd love to loose the poundage for mid April but this will go on until the target is met!

    Weigh-ins will be done on Monday morning (as an insentive to not over do it at the weekend).

    How many calories do you burn from typing on the forum?

  • I lost 4 pounds on Friday alone, courtesy of diarrhoea.

  • Seems the best diets involve sever illness. Friend caught hep a (I think) lost 3 stone!

  • Yup, count me in, too. Was doing really well then injury, illness and Christmas followed on eachother's heels over 3 months. Result - major pig-out and 10lb gained (on top of 10lb I already had to go). Weigh-in Wednesday.
