Foot Arch problems

Hi guys, apologised if this has been covered.

I was recently injured for almost six months with ankle ligament damage, however through physio and various other means that problem seems to have been fixed.

I started training for the Edinburgh marathon (31st May) last week and everything appeared to be going well until i ajitated the arch in my left - the opposite one to my ankle.

Shooting in the dark i fured this was a case of doing to much to soon, although prior to beginning the marathon regime i'd been on about 20 miles a week for a month. The week before injury i did 28.

Now i've read plenty of horror stories regarding arch related injuries and the recovery being extensive. so obiovusly i'm getting a little bit concerned already. I've stepped away from the training for three days and am on the usual roling on a bottle ect. but struggling for improvement currently.

Normally i'd be looking to get round the marathon in around 3 hours but obviously now need to seriously rethink that.

Anyhow jsut looking for a little bit of advise.
