I'm less than three weeks from a half marathon, and my physiotherapist has told me I have a syndesmotic injury (some injury to the syndesmoses ligament in my ankle.) As a precaution, my physio has suggested a x-ray to rule out a stress fracture. Once that is ruled out, he will then discuss what we can do to train around the injury.
However, having had a google, this kind of injury does not look good for running a half marathon, but there doesn't appear to be a wealth of information on it. Does anyone else have any experience of this injury, and training around it?
