Races that allow dogs

Can anyone tell me how I can find a list of races that allow dogs.  I'm not looking for Canicross  events but general races that allow you to run with a dog.

Canicross might be a good source of information, their website must have a forum?

i know that park run will accept dogs and I would say most trail races but very few road races

Maybe try the Dog sledding lot. They will let you run with them- until you are left behind obviously.

Hopefully none, shouldn't be encouraged. Go to cani-cross they exist for that reason.

Please leave the general races for humans, don't want to be tripping over some mutts leash.

Got to ask why not canicross? What sort of dog do you have? I run with my dog to exercise him on a.lead attached to my waist belt and he can fairly tow me along. I'd certainly be getting an unfair advantage in a race.
