Blimey! Me starting a plod. Corr, doesn't happen very often

Well, as i said before, carp shift. Very bad - needed stiff drink when i got home. And i'd kinda got out of that habbit.

had a pleasant night out with TS
went to local gastr pub (well it sells food) and it was full and lively and we had a good old gossip - which did everyone good - and an early night -stoppit
Were particularly intrigued by older (than us) couple whocame in and sat at table for two with their own box of tissues (Boots multicolour, fact freaks). Led us to lots of puerile giggling to see whether they took them to the loo &c

had a very bad night last night full of self loathing and "I am" crap feelings.
But, the good news is went to the docs, got the tablets and had a really good chat with him. he is referring me to a counsellor to sort through my issues which is fantastic, I hope.
that's a really huge step
hope the counsellor is good
you are so not crap - pretty and funny and clever, and athletic - that it's hard to believe you could have issues BTW
(flr stares hard at GL's issues and they shrivel - no one can withstand a flr hard stare for long)

Very tired today but will attempt my scheduled 4 miles on the treadie after school run as its p*ssing it down here and I don't want to tempt a cold.
Feeling a bit like Quimby, snotty and my throat is a bit tingly. Mr Joby has developed a cold and is looking unlikely for the race on Sunday now. Lets just hope I don't nosedive in the same direction

I don't really celebrate new year of any kind, just thought I could use it as an excuse not to go to work. Three weeks back and I'm starting to find it very difficult.
Haven't plodded this week either. Was reading a thread on achilles tendinitis and it scared me enough to make me think about resting.

just caught up on five days of on-line Dilberts, don't know why I never read them at home.
Was in Essex yesterday and I saw: one woman in white stilletos and one in leg warmers. Don't think I could have coped if it had been the same woman. Apologies to all Essex plodders but to me, this is proof that the 80's stereotypes live on!
Plodded 4ish miles yesterday, very slowly as instructed by schedule. 6 miles tonight, probably also very slowly (not as instructed by schedule).
Must work today.

had a wierd dream last night ..... I dreamt I died (how cheerful), the heart had stopped and I was just fading away and I realized I was on my own and hadn't had chance to say bye to anyone. Woke up crying. It's my age. Horrible.
1) 1 bacardi breezer - 10 minute head start
2) 2 bacardi breezers - 20 minute head start
3) 3 bacardi breezers - 30 minute head start
4) 4+ bacardi breezers - oxygen and 3 hour head start
5) pregnant (early stages) 10 minute head start
6) heavily pregnant - 1 hour head start
7) heavily pregnant plus pram - 3 hours
8) heavily pregnant plus pram Plus kids - 5 hours
9) no's 5-8 plus any combination of 1-4, 6 hours head start
10) any of the above plus fag breaks - 8 hours head start
11) any of the above plus row with boyfriend of kid 10 - 2 hours
instant disqualification if the cortina breaks down and you miss the start though
