Apparently blood pressure and heart rate, bmi are poor indicators of impending mortality. One of the questions is the number of cars in the household - more means affluence but I'm not sure if that is good or bad.
Let's meet up here again in 2020. See most of you then!
99.5% chance of surviving the next 5 years with an ubble age of 32 (48 in reality). I'll live with that! Perhaps I should put a little more away now for my retirement...
So it turns out that if we buy our daughter a car my chances of dying in the next 5 years actually improve. Which seems reasonable - I'll be safely indoors after all, but I wouldn't say it does much for the chances of the rest of you.
For anyone else who hasn't read what UbbLE age actually means it is simply the age that equates to your calculated % likelihood of dying in next 5 years so I would imagine it has a positive correlation with how long you would be estimated to live (as it will be based on a lot of the same risk factors) but is not directly related.
Asking if you have had cancer, diabetes, a serious illness etc are probably a lot more likely to affect death rates than whether you have had financial worries. It is almost like it is just a fake quiz for gathering data.
I bet if sepp blatter took it they'd say he was already dead!
So - I'm 50, and I got 40. Oddly I got the same answer even if I changed the answers to the questions about how many children I'd had ( actually none, but putting 1 made no odds), simialrly replacing my true answers of having somked only 1 or 2 fags ever, to saying "never" INCREASED my chance of dying from 0.5% to 0.6%, but didn't change my "age".
Now I will have to go through all th epossible answers to see what I can get away with , without increasing my chances of an early death!
Ubble age of 35 which i assume is good as I'm actually 44. I was expecting a bit more information but it does mean i can have a beer tonight and not worry

So when the Gender question has the option for M or F.... you obviously fell asleep.....
A bit about the science here in the Grauniad.

D'oh, you're quite right Booktrunk
99.4% Chance of surviving. Well that was before deciding I want a second mortgage to be able to buy The Liberator

99.6% chance and my Ubble Age is 27 (real age 47) - sounds good!
High blood pressure cost me .2 and a few years :0
I'm guessing what cost me a couple of % is having smoked in the past and living alone.
Ubble age 57 (bugger, i'm 44)
Risk of dying 3.9%

Trying to find out but it's fecking slow
Stress concerning internet speeds may be a negative factor...
Taps foot...
My Ubble age was 24 but I had to lie and tell it I was 40 to be allowed to take the quiz. Looks like I'm not going to die any time soon though.
OK my Ubble age is 8 years less than my actual age and I have just a 0.6 chance of dying.
Looks like I'll be around to annoy everybody for a while yet
Is the living alone question one that just the men get? I didn't see that one.
I wasn't asked about cars. Was that one of the questions?

99.6%. I smoked 5 fags a few years ago. Must be it.
Yes - how many cars in your household.

I haven't got any cars but I do have two bicycles and a f***load of running shoes.
I bet if sepp blatter took it they'd say he was already dead!
I didn't get the car question either - I wonder if some questions are generated by your responses to others?
Or was I just doing it wrong?
Cars are only for boys, Screamapillar.
Haha - did you get asked how many rooms in your house are pink?
No but we got asked how many babies we had given birth to (live births only).
Ah that explains the car question - that was just the question to make the formulas work for males and females or you would have had an extra question
i am 34 apparently ... not 48.....I imagine if I hadn't ticked the stress/ anxiety question I'm sure i would be a teenager
not sure where the kids makes a difference
I'm 54 and got 42.
🙂
