`cept it is 1 am here. Having to pass the computer on the way to bed is just too tempting. Plus friday night is Michael Moore night and he doesn`t start til after midnight so despite good intentions I am always late.
well, it would appear that this is the official thread
funny thing is, I attempted to start one myself, but as usual the site won't let me. Don't know why, something to do with my etchasketch. Thought the new upgrade might have changed that, but no.
urnfl... g/f is away for the weekend so I can indulge in stupidly-late-night sessions playing games. guess no-one else is awake, though. hmm, this might be an ideal time to go to Tesco. no crowds.
Got to sort myself out for today. I could do without having to go out in all this wind and rain.
Remembered in the shower (as one does) that I'm supposed to be in a quilting class in Newcastle Emlyn on Tuesday which finishes at 1.30 - the time I'm supposed to be taking my car in for its MOT in Neath - 50 miles away!! I'll have to leave the class at 12 and hope I don't miss too much. That'll teach me to be forgetful!!
had a phone call from the organist at St Giles, the church where I sing Mass once a month saying the vicar Father John Aves died of a heart attack last w/e in Bethlehem while on a mission to the mid-east.
trin, don't know if you knew him, he used to be rector at St Marys A'bleurgh, where I belonged to another chioir that did monthly choral evensong
I know you've only just moved there, but he was well known in CE circles. After all I knew him, and I'm a mick.
Anyway he had asked for his funeral to be in the Cathedral with the St Giles choir, would I like to do it?
That`s bad news about your friend Yeo was he quite young ?
A mick`s a catholic Trin. Micks and Tims isn`t that it ? Glad you had a night out did you still find things to say to each other ?
Waiting with baited breath for Flrs news...
You back from your course yet Pardu ?
I am just back from my plod. Friend struggled quite a bit as she has fallen off the wagon both running and diet wise but it was good to have company. We did just over 5 miles most of it in a snow storm. Maybe that means it counts as 7.
Off for a shower then some shopping. The boys are all going skiing.

Not that old Hooves, in his 50s I guess. I didn't know him that well but I liked him and he seemed a very good priest for a proddy!
flr, you're approaching the world record for carrot-dsangling....
