I often get a numb right leg if I stand still for even a short length of time. This is unusual for me as I used to be able to stand still in the same location for upwards of an hour at a time or more without any ill effects.
It manifests itself very like "pins and needles" and progresses to no feeling in the whole leg at all. Walking is very difficuly for some time afterwards.
Any ideas? Shall I go to the Doc?

I get a similar sensation (or lack of!) when running and alleviate it by arching my back...but I have heard that the opposite (bending forwards) can also help depending on whether the front or back of the vertabrae require "opening"...might be worth trying next time you have this problem?
See doc or see doc and then see osteopath.
