July/August 2016 Marathon recommendations

Fully aware that this time of year is certainly not Spring but I was hoping I could get some suggestions of good marathons to run around this time of year. European suggestions would be great, it'll be my first one and ideally something in a cooler climate would be good as I live in Scotland so I'm certainly not used to running in warmer temperatures. October could also be a month if the race was right. Thanks a bunch!
