Can anyone recommend some good, not too expensive off road shoes for cross country running this winter

Natterjack (01704 534040) have some nice looking New Balance 904s for £25. I called them this morning to order some but they didn't have my size!!!! So don't call them if you're a size eight (in feet, that is), but they definately had a 71/2.
