Use of Pro Plus
Well I only had the double espresso in the end as after a wee nap on the train going home I was WIDE awake and eager to go for a run.
Set out to do 5 miles tempo on the treadmill but got a bit carried away and ended up doing 5K at race pace and finished 5 seconds outside of my PB - darn! However I was very pleased as I had set off slower and then really motored towards the end. The other reason for cutting the session short (distance wise) was because there are only three treadmills at my gym (small village gym) and one was out of order.
So my conclusion, double espresso works!
I shall be testing Red Bull and also Guarana. Not sure which for the race on Sunday. (Oops, did I say that out loud?)
