Does anyone know of/recommend what to wear under running tights(first time user) The seems have made me a little uncomfortable. Is there any special seemless undies avaiable to wear?
Hats off to Tamsin for mentioning little black thong and friction burns in the same sentance without the powers that be raising the red card. I will not sleep well tonight thinking about it..................
I keep some pairs of really old and worn out ordinary briefs. The elastic is so slack they're no good for everyday wear, but under a pair of tracksters they're just right.
Hi I have been running for years and at the beginning I used to wear tight elastic leggings but recently (due mainly to not much money and feeling cold) I have been running in the baggy cotton sport trousers. There are ok but not if it rains (this morning I coudn't bend my knees properly of how soaking wet they were). is it better to run in tight leggins or is it better to run in baggy trousers? I though that they would keep my legs warmer, am I right?
I run in tight lycra tights as they keep my legs warm, hold the wobbly bits firmly and don't sag and bag when they get wet. I find Tracksters when soaked tend to hang a bit from the waist as the water pulls them down. Cotton 'sports' trousers are OK for shorter distances in dry weather, but i find the wind chills through them and i don't like the flapping material round my calves.

It's far less painful to go without.
