Well I do know what you mean about not noticing people ageing and then suddenly . .
Could ramble on about it but you're right, save it for a post 26.2.
Dublin or Connemara?
Or Lisbon?
Going back a page or two - know what you mean about values changing too as I get older. It's something I'm having to deal with at the moment too. Maybe mile 16? Or post race?
New York's only on 691, we'll be past them in no time!
Rk I wont. Im having trouble going from one thread to another and keeping up with you and snicks. If you could run as fast as you post you would both be world beaters!
And I can't believe that yet again, I haven't planned my circuits class. Now, a quick running note. I'm feeling fat, unfit and sluggish - hoping it's a tapering thing, and not a result of not being so active recently. (Same running training but less teaching)... Anyway, wrong thread for that. Bit late now, too, isn't it?
Love one tigerrunner, jolly decent of you. But I've had two glasses this evenin' already and I had intended to be dry between now and the race, so I'll take a rain check this time if you don't mind.
I've already had a few thanks. But that's it for me till Dublin - although I did order a bottle in my online shopping which arrives tomorrow! No that's got to be it. I'll be dry till Dub! I will, I will!
Snicks I think we can still do running here . . know what you mean about how you feel . . I feel exactly the same.
Altho' I always feel fat and sluggish . .
Think you're right, it's the lack of activity as we taper. Sometimes I still feel like this for the first few miles of a marathon, takes a few miles to shake off the previous few weeks' sloth!
been flitting back to the other Dub thread......you know the proper one. still not heard from them. dont know me number. Snicks..tapering makes you feel slugish. just run on the spot. jog to the loo..that sort of thing. Keeps you active.
dry till Dublin. Thats taking things to far. And i've got a moan at you two. cause ive been on here to long wifeys drank all the red wine. now im going to be dry. eyes are getting wet though.
Tigerrunner - if you jog to the loo don't you have to get there quicker? Actually I suppose you do. There's a joke there but I can't quite put my keyboard on it!
Well if you say it's taking things too far, then I agree. Hurrah, more wine for Snicks tomorrow. I think I ordered that Huge Juicy Red from Tesco...I'll know tomorrow when my delivery arrives. The irony is that I did online shopping because I was so, wait for it, busy!!
RichK, cynical divorcee of the parish! Miles, one to 26.2 if you get me going on that one! And I've just had all the wine (not a whole bottle, I might add!)

Thanks though . .
Dual posting, synchronisity etc
You know what's going to happen. We'll all say goodnight and in will pop Ray O, back from the pub!

Last night I mistook him for the other Big0, that's why I was calling him Roy.
Thought it was odd that he'd left the Travellin' Wilberries to be a graphic artist in Connemara.
Though I can think of worse career changes.
Synchronisity. Is that us?
Oo-er!

But you still haven't got it!
