Manchester marathon times all invalid 2013015

It has been confirmed manchester marathon measured short for 2013-15 so all times for the races have been removed from records and are invalid. I struggled for 6 months of training with injury to beat my pb by 40 mins to go sub 4 for the first time. Now the times have been wiped. What can i do? surely i paid for a marathon (no small price either) and one was not provided. can i claim a refund? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/36104638

Then add 1% to your old time and have that as your adjusted marathon time ? It was 99% accurate - and I don't believe it was the fault of the organisers. For once !

Have the times been 'wiped'? I heard any records were just going to say SC (short course) next to it. YOU know you ran that time, so no one has actually taken it away from you. I ran 3.29 - which obviously now was 3.30 or 3.31 depending on how fast I could have done the last 380m, but does it really matter?! I'm still gonna tell people I did 3.29 (if anyone ever asks, which they rarely do) Just be happy with what you ran - it's still a 40 min pb!! (Mine, incidentally, is no longer a pb, as I ran 3.30.31 at Nottingham a few months later. At least yours still is!!)
