Not so keen meself on baseball-cap types of headgear, a bit prone to blowing off in the breeze in my experience. Better imho would be detachable unit to go in a warm beanie in winter, a buff in summer etc.
But I sweat bucketloads. It runs down my face and I wonder how long an optical sensor would last before getting completely crudded up.
