Spot on. Should be compulsory reading for beginners posting a question about shoe selection. The problem is that a new pair of shoes seems like an easy fix.
The rest of us have known this for years booktrunk but still you get people who blame everything on the wrong trainers and that they didn't get a gait analysis from a "proper" running shop etc etc...
