There is 1.1m up for grabs in the re-running of the most contentious 100m olympic final of all time.

I am not sure what the point is they ae all in their 40s and cannot see what the entertainment value will beand therefore why so much money is up for grabs.

Why not re-run the 1966 world cup final whilst they are on a roll?

Why shouldn't Linford run. He keeps himself in shape with his training groups anyway so hed probably fancy his chances in winning the £1m prize. So what if it's a gimmic, if someone's daft enought to put up the money then they should do it. It would be funny if one of the outsiders from that race surprised the big three won it.

I'm sure it will mildly entertaining, but why would this event attract so much cash when there are relatively small financial gains in athletic (compared to other sports.
