Hi all. It was held yesterday a new edition of the 100km of Madrid (included 50km issue), whose winner Polish Janicki took 6h51. I was running some 30k mid tempo with an elite group and it is smashing how easy the 7h runners start. Some surprises as Jorge Aubeso, 2003 world leader (6h23) training and making pics of us, Ramon Alvarez, a sub 7h ultra, Vicente Valera, top3 last year, etc. Good feelings til 2h15 when I dropped out. Too many uphill, it is a 10lap course full of hills and my legs are still raw for these events.

Hi Luis, I'd heard Madrid was a hilly course, some good times though. They are seriously fit aren't they!
