Yes I was, I even saw the sign post for your business park whilst searching for a pub lunch between Worcester and home. Didn't think it appropriate to turn up at your place of work with wife and daughter to demand lunch so just sailed on by.
DB, maybe you should have but I would have taken you to the big M round the corner!!! - but then again........ I would have given the washing up secret away....
Trees in my garden, a couple of houses, more trees, the way into the woods, more trees on the skyline, some blue sky, feathery clouds, some sunshine...did I mention the trees?
ironwolf - do you fancy a job in a lovely library with lots of lovely students who ask lots of lovely intelligent questions and who smile a lot? And can I look at your woods and trees for a while?
phoenix - you can look at my trees anytime. Funny, I always thought it would be nice to be a librarian but I got sidetracked. I'm thinking about going out among those trees soon....or maybe have lunch instead?
I'm not as grand as a librarian - just an assistant. It's much like being a checkout girl except it's books not groceries. Text books too, as it's a college. We have a nice cosy, warm, dry atmosphere here which is perfect for books and horrible for the people who have to work here.
What do you do when you're not admiring your view?
Why are you cancelling your FLM application, BBB? Have you kept that rash "I'm not putting you through that again, I'll have the next one" promise that you made last time around?
Couldn't belieeeeve that woman who tried to spoil her fella's day at the GNR this year by having it announced over the tannoy that she had gone into labour and was in hospital. Over-reacting or what?
From my window...well, it's quite dark outside and I'm looking through heavy net curtains and thick bars (yup, I'm even more dangerous than you thought) so I acn't see much. The vague silhouette of a couple of saplings, the side of a house across the road, a lamp-post.
If I stood on the roof I could see the Aston Villa ground and think, "Never trust a man who allows a building to be named after himself during his lifetime".
phoenix, dare I say it, I'm a human relations specialist (that job that used to be called a personnel officer!). But when not at work or not looking at trees, I go hiking, run among the trees with my dogs, swim, bike, and race. Oh and I like to cook, entertain, and drink red wine.
ironwolf - here the human resources people decided on a brave new name for themselves......drum roll....trumpets... and all those triumphant type things.... Personnel!!!!!! They'd forgotten that once upon a time they were actually called personnel but changed it to sound more modern.
I work for Americans, 'personnel' is an outlawed word. We have all sorts of seminars, meetings, discussions with our tame psychologist on all the 'modern' concepts like self-directed teams, employee empowerment, total quality management, and all the other buzz words of today....then everyone goes back to work same as before! It's a funny old world.

Are you being risque about my peanut thingy?
Caz, It is raining but the wildlife seem better at coping with it than I am. Just deferred my little trot to this afternoon.
I haven't got a window here at work (sob) and I'm here today from 8am to 9pm. Roll on the weekend, when I might see some daylight.

I work in the library of a higher education college (one of those ones trying to be a university). There are windows in it - just nowhere near me.

Enlighten us Shewy - where are you? (sounds great!)
