No Way Out (M.)

I do not usually advocate buying running shoes from chain stores, but about two months ago bought a pair of Asics Kayano V111 from JJB sports in Staines. Unfortunately the tread started to come away from the soles. I would like to give credit to the manageress for replacing them with no quibble even though I had thrown away the receipt a lond while ago.

While I wouldn't dream of asking JJB shop assistants for advice on running shoes if you know what you're looking for then there are some good offers. I mean Kayano VIII @£60, 2070 £50, structure triax £40 to name a few of the most popular. The advantage? You can try them in store as suppose to ordering them online and finding they don't fit. Have to limit my visits, get tempted very easily!

I wear Air Structure, but my local JJB doesn't stock them. Any idea which stores do? £40 sounds much more attractive than the £70 I paid for my last pair.

Nessie, your nickname suggests you might be from Scotland, well I've seen them in Glasgow too. You won't probably go for a paor of shoes but any excuse... I had a great time in the two days i spent there. Going again soon

Hmm, I'll be in Glasgow early December. Mr Nessie's going to a footie match so I could be let loose on Sauchiehall Street on my own.

Better get a note off to Visa to warn them.....
