  • Likewise. Watching yesterday got me inspired. Two years away from Tenby, but back for the 4th time
  • i think i fancy this one again

    Pirate champs ??

  • Get thee behind me Satan, I don't have time to train for this!!
  • Well, don't bother then. You can always blag it.

Let's put it this way. The bike T1 and T2 are in the same place. Therefore any energy you use going up a hill can be regained going down a hill. That means there is zero effect from any undulations.

  • Not true Blisters as you start on a beach and do not finish on the beach so the whole race is uphill  image

  • Damn you Wales, I was all set to push the button on Copenhagen but now I'm tempted by the fruit of another, should I go back for the third time........

  • Surely its too soon for me to enter again after only 2 days ??
  • You left it a bit late.
I think that it would have been cheaper at 0930 Monday. Until 1400.

Unfortunately I arrived at 1500, and had to enter on line. Anyway, the price is fixed until 19 October so you can discuss things with the Boss at the weekend.

work out what your strengths and weaknesses are before you srtart

    are you overweight

    are you slow

can you climb hills on the bike easily

have you got good endurance on teh bike

do you enjoy swimming in the sea in rough weather

    they tackle your biggest weaknessess.

and if you are slow then mix any running with learning to power walk.especially up hill

It is the best race up there......but the hardest I have done

And learn how to sing the Welsh National Anthem.......
    .

  • I'm in for this! Will be my third IM - only done one currently but also doing the Outlaw next summer. Can't wait to take on those hills.
