No doubt someone will be along in a minute to say how the forums have gone down hill, bla bla bla. That doesnt detract from the fact there are 1000's of people posting every day.
Is there no appetite for a social get together?
People seem to enjoy themselves a lot at all those ive been to? for those who havnt been before isnt this a great way to make new friends, meet like minded people etc etc.
Barley, I think the decline of the socials is because people are meeting up more at races. Once upon a time people only really met up at one or two races a year but now I see RW people almost once a month. I no longer have time to fit specific socials into my calendar unless they also have some sort of training or supporting activitiy associated with them

What has happened to the London socials, there seems so much apathy? Is it poeple are afraid to put their name down first?
I remember when 40, 50 would turn up, just look at this thread, 700 posts!
