Running poet's corner

Us runners are quite a creative bunch, so I thought that it would be great to have a thread for running related poems. Here's my attempt.

Out for a run on a cold winter's day

A freezing December, a chill all the way

Puffing and panting, pouring with sweat

Snot from the nose, my sleeves are all wet

Climbing the hill, mounting the crest

The downhill is coming, the bit I like best

Under the pylons, buzzing in mist

A run in this weather? I must be pi*&£d

What's up ahead? Another hard hill

The same again tommorow? Of course I bloomin' will.
