Also noticed a new one in Hamburg, during school holidays and we know that Germans like a beer or two. so atmosphere should be good.

Hard to rate which is the best, had a great time at Florida, Coeur d'Alene and Arizona.

MC - that's fine, I was in two minds on whether to vote because I'm not in a position to commit to Wales and in the past there have been issues with lots of people voting on a venue then nobody turning up. But Tenby will always get a good pirate turnout, champs or not so not really an issue.
I do fancy trying a Canadian/US race at some point, I imagine the vibe is a bit different to the European ones.

Not 100% yet when I want to go in 2018 as Mrs 9 has mentioned a Lanza trip next year would be nice...will vote before the end though.
Austria was great 2 years ago, but so was Wales last year!!

I think other than IM WA 2020 that an American one is about the only thing to tempt me out of retirement, Florida was great and there are some great ones to pick, anything with a name of IM Chattanooga has to be good doesn't it? Always wanted to go to Kentucky, so its IM Louisville or even see how America used to be at IM Maryland

Hmm, no idea how that happened as that's an old post, and at the time I allegedly posted this, I was in a meeting? I'm keen, but not that keen. Unless there's a McDonald's along the course route. Then I'd be dead keen

So providing they don't bring the date forward that would be my preference
the first bike cutoff in Austria is tight..does that ever cause a problem

Wales, bike course would be hilly enough for me, run/walk course might be a bit too hilly for me! Plus time of year & probable weather not great for me, cold knees make for an unhappy Little Sister!!
Sweden, bike too flat, but probably wouldn't have an issue with the run course!
Cut offs in Mastricht & Barcelona might be a bit tight for me!
I'm tempted to go back to France, I have unfinished buisness (officially a DNF, but crossed line in under 17 hours but I want that sub 16 finish)! Got a bit of thinking to do!
Need to see if IMF returns after next year's post Promenade murders hiatus I guess but certainly enjoy Nice week.
