Saltire on one foot, lion rampart on the other.  I'd have them too! :)

That's exactly what I thought as well... Great minds.
  • Who was it was doing a Union Jack shoe in time for London ? Almost tempted - but they'd sold out.
Loving the idea of Braveheart shoes !
  • But haven't they put all the stars & stripes on bits of the shoe that nobody ever sees, or am I missing something?
  • You see them as you're running behind them. It's a design quirk. I'm a designer, hence I like the attention to detail. All marketing bollocks of course, but still cool.
  • Or, if as in their photo, you're sitting with a beer and your feet up.  Although the guy in the photo clearly hasn't run anywhere in them because the stars, being merely printed on the sole (by the looks of things anyway) will wear away after a bit.  Although then we'd be able to tell if he overpronates :-)

You're right, it's a design quirk and they'll sell bucketloads of them because of it.  Yes, nice that they've done the insoles too.  No different to union jack shorts though!

  • The stars and stripes are actually printed on the bottom of the midsole and the outsole is transparent, so the graphic will not wear away at all until at least your outsole is done.
  • Ah OK - well that is attention to detail, I'll give them that!
  • Well, Americans do like tacky after all.
