Sounds like a good session emzap. Was it hot? Lovely evening here but not necessarily for putting in a session like that.

What:          hoping to coax the legs round a MLR
Why:           making the most of having the time whilst the weather is good

    Sounds a tough session, Emz. Women's cricket today! Hope it is better than the men's!

    Enjoy your MLR, LMH! Have you got much work at present?

    What: cross training...gardening, cleaning, ironing, stretching

    Why: rehab
    Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    why: work until 5pm, legs stiff and tired on last evening's loop
    last hard: yesterday (even if it was only a slow 5k)
    last rest: Sunday

    What: a mile and home circuits
    Why: I have done a lot of effort over the past 3 days

    LMH yes it was not nice weather for a session like that.  Was meant to be 10x300 (100 recovery), then 400, 600, 400, 600 with 400 recovery.  Just couldn't persuade legs, especially after Sunday.  However, did keep a steady pace for the efforts, better to do fewer at quality.

    Ale will try and remember to listen, lots of meetings today though.  Your day of rest sounds rather like a day of work!

    I used to listen in then too SC - and have to rush back to school after hearing what was number one or risk being in trouble for being late:-)

    Work has been scarce all year Alehouse with the odd busier bit.

    Wabo - I think a MLR depends on where you are in your training and for what - mine's a little longer than seven just now as I'm marathon training.

    Stromness Shopping week:  Holms OW Swim (600m) quickly followed by Stromness 10k featuring some steep hills
    Wedding Ceilidh in evening.
    Then Day 2 of Orkney Sea Symposium (kayaking) on Sunday

    OH - sounds like you are maxed out at the weekend... have fun.

    Prepping for a weeks camping from Sat (so good chance will be off line all next week... may get the odd opportunity to post...)
