Running By George?

Has anyone ever used this website before, the 'intelligent runners' training plans? Just curious as there's a cost involved which i'd be reluctant to pay unless there were some good reviews on it, which I can't find.

On a side topic I'm keen to get my half marathon time below 1.45 this year, current best is just under 1.47. Can anyone recommend a good training plan to follow for the next 8-10 weeks?

Thanks!

Sorry for this post, patronising runner here, but paying for a trainer or an "intelligent runners plan" at your level seems just silly to me.

I can run sub 1.45 at nigh on 70 and there's no magic formula/plan, just lots of running including some speedwork.

Belonging to a running club helps, especially if they have coaching.

Otherwise plenty of free plans and advice out there, but paying? No, only perhaps if you are an elite aiming for a sub 1:15 say, and even then that's only really at a good club level.
  • Plenty of advice on here - I'd not pay for a plan.
