Watches with built in music and bluetooth earphone signal dropping out?

Does anyone here run with a watch that has onboard music for example the TomTom Runner or  Polar or Apple Watch series 2?
If so do you ever have trouble with the Bluetooth earphones cutting in and out?
Most watches are designed to be worn on the left wrist but some Bluetooth earphones have their receiver on the right hand side ear piece.
This can cause issues with the already weak signal cutting out if you move your arm about and I've read about people who have to wear the watch on the right wrist (which would drive me nuts) in order to keep the blue tooth transmitter in the Watch closer to the receiver in the head set.
I've read about this issue with both the Apple Watch and the TomTom but have yet to search properly to see if it is also an issue for other brands such as Polar, Samsung etc.
Anyone?
