    Morning!

Yesterday's lyrics were "Golden Slumbers" by The Beatles.

Looks like you could do with a bit of sleep LMH. As I do.

Lyrics: surprised myself with a "yes" (had to check!)!

What: help at parkrun plus fitness suite

Why: lend support plus put it is a put weight through the Achilles day.

Too early to say really whether yesterday's run/walk has impacted on the Achilles, but I suspect not.

Wonder whether Wabo has started her long run yet pre parkrun!

And wonder if OH has got to Shetland and has internet! Half tomorrow?

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Enjoy your weekend SC - a 24 minute parkrun doesn't sound that steady to me.

9 windy miles over Wideford Hill this morning. Swim shortly. Heading to Shetland at 11pm on overnight ferry.
May have internet but not much else on Burra Island, Shetland.
Continuing build up to Mamores half (8 days time) and GO33 (4 Nov)
    This morning was quite hard
    Last rest Wednesday.
    Lyrics no

Near miss this morning: Running slowly back into sun along tarmaced public footpath. Lady watching children in playpark on right hand side. Small dog on left hand side. Only realised that there was a gray lead connecting the two when my legs became entangled in it. Fortunately only running slowly so managed to stay upright.

    Hiya
OH - bane of my life those long leads.
    Is Wabo back yet?
    Good luck tomorrow LmH

    what - easy runs
why - bought two new pairs of ascis so just checking they were OK (same brand, same size, same model, so no problem!)
    last rest - 12 days
    last hard - Thursday (tempo)
    lyric - don't think so

    Afternoon!

Dustin: I would guess Wabo will have been done and dusted by 12:29! And pleased with a Spurs win!
    Did you get Kayanos again?

I was able to picture your near Miss OH! Enjoy Burra!

What: 2x 500 plus a fair amount of leg presses with the heaviest weights yet.

And well done SC: 24 is not a jog!

very tired, Mrs RFJ admitted to hospital last night (still there) I got home at 0145 (with tea from McDonalds) so a parkrun time of 20:44 was acceptable esp as I was first V45Looks like gall bladder issues for Mrs RFJ.

    Take care

Sounds like a lucky escape OH - I hate those extending leads too, people often seem to take absolutely no notice of where their dog is in relation to them, the path and any other users.

    Thanks Dustin.

Hope it turns out to be nothing more serious RFJ.

    OMG, OH! Scary.

    SC: nice :+1:

    Ale: sounds like progress

Lmh: how are the nerves? Hope you get some rest tonight and have a brilliant race tomorrow. You deserve a good one. I'll be watching Berlin tomorrow and shall be thinking about you when Kenenisa and Wilson are duking it out :)

    What: 6k run / 90 min bike
    Why: building / nice day
Last hard: not running as much as I'd like to
    Last rest: 5/8
    Lyrics: no

    Evening

Quick pop in before I go off on holiday (sans internet probably).

Doc says probably not a slipped disc.  2 weeks of ibuprofen to see what happens.  Will take it easy on holiday (walking is enough to tire me at the moment so really need a week of relaxing).

RFJ hope Mrs RFJ is ok.

Have a lovely rest of weekend.

    Have a good holiday emzap.

6k is good chicksta! I was quite nervous earlier- I really want to run the time I think I can - but I’m relaxed and ready for an early night now. I will appreciate all positive thoughts tomorrow- thank you.

    Evening!

LMH: we'll all be rooting for you.
RememberThink positive thoughts, banish negative ideas and visualize your success
    and If y
ou think you can or think you can't...etc, etc, etc!
    YOU CAN
    !
Remember that journey you have been on: not so many years ago when a very little LMH was worried whether she could manage a half marathon...and then not so many years ago defeating the bike crash! Go well girl: there will be tough patches of course: that happens in every race. You are well equipped to get over them. :)

RFJ: trust all is well with MrsRFJ.

Chick:  a good day's training. Don't over do things! It is very tempting and I know I will have to rein things in!
