Running after pregnancy

Hi, I had a baby nearly a year ago. Desperate to start running again (couldn't run throughout pregnancy) at 3 months after having the baby I started running again. I probably over did it and tried to go too fast/far too soon. After a couple of months of getting back into running I have had a number of issues : knee pain, pain across my feet and up the outside of my right leg. I also have Achilles tendonitis. I rested for a few months and have tried to start again, but can only manage a couple of miles of run/walk intervals before my joints and Achilles start hurting. I am not running fast at all and I am going for acupuncture once a fortnight. I am desperate to get my fitness back and wondered if anyone had any advice?
