  • Morning!

Lyrics: suspect I should...so that'll be a no from me.

I take it that P has recovered, LMH! Didn't he break running too hard on his own?

Well done at parkrun, Wabo...and enjoy your day!

Emz: glad you enjoyed the xc. You need spikes!

Hope today's race goes well Dustin.

All now going to plan, OH?
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Lmh I slept for 11.5 hours so I think there's still some recovery to do!

Ale yes I need spikes or at the very least off road shoes!

    What: probably a walk
Why: it's nice to explore the countryside
    Last hard: sliding everywhere yesterday!
    Lyrics: nope

    Enjoy the double Dustin.
    Have a great day all
  • Morning again!

What: 2.3k slowly run in a number of different sections

Why: watching local 5k (Great Run equivalent of parkrun) so that  I could show some building plans to a friend who I knew would be running. Breathing was poor, as expected!
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
  • Well done at the xc races,  em  + Dustin.  Hardcore  !! Hope today went equally well, Dustin.

Great parkrun,  wabo.  Your running so well at the moment. That streak seems to be serving you well.

Take it easy,  ale. I'm still coughing. Very tedious germs.

    What: 6k
Why: plan was to do exactly 10% more than last week's  total.  Box ticked. 43k done.
Last hard: not doing more.  Such a nice day.
    Last rest: 29/10
Lyrics: of course - one of my favourite albums. I can hear it over and over again.

Em: 11.5 hours sleep is pretty good going and think you matched mine last night:-)

LMH:I hope you kept warm today....

    What:5 miles
    Why: Because I could
    Last hard: the cold
Lyrics:Yes I just downloaded album to ipod

Pace was better today so going to stick to 5 mile time trial on a Sunday!
Off to work on my winter running Training schedule:-)
    ALF: Always a little further
    Miles makes smiles.
    Progression
  • I wish I could sleep for 11.5 hours!

P did a test run yesterday and raced 10 miles today Alehouse - he says there are no ill effects so hopefully he'll be good to go on Saturday. I hope that you feel better soon. I'm sure that you do know the lyrics.

    Nice parkrunning Wabo.

Very sensible chicksta - you make me feel very ill disciplined (which is probably because I am). I love this album too.

It was cold out there Poppy but not as bad as the forecast made it sound - or maybe I just dressed correctly, who knows. Forecast colder but with less wind tomorrow. I'm glad you had a good run.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Hiya
Thanks for the thoughts re tumble. Slight ankle soreness but nothing too sinister.
What - XC part 2. Sunday League race on the tracks and trails near Petersfield (Just North of Portsmouth). Wasn't racing - legs wouldn't allow it, but the course is good as the big climbs are in the first 2 miles, then some up and down, and the last mile is a long downhill. So had a bit left for the run in.
    Got round, so objective achieved.
Why - can I call it recovery?
    last rest - 11/9
    last hard - this w/e
  • No Dustin - I don't think you can call that recovery:-)
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.
