I had a better night last night, much needed, and my peak flow is finally up a little. I won't be rushing out to run though as I still don't actually feel as though I could. Maybe Sunday if things keep improving. I shall head to the pool for a few lengths and a eucalyptus steam if I can make the time before work.

Well, I so couldn't face the TM again and after having checked the weather radar it looked like it was going to stay dry. There was only a slight drizzle during the first couple of k and then the wind blew the clouds away and very nearly my legs from under my body. Discarded xmas trees were being blown about and I was hit by a flying plastic bottle but other than that it was a decent run.

It really is Dustin, the pool is only 22m but now I'm not tri training that isn't an issue, it's plenty long enough for me when I'm bimbling up and down. Loads of new kit in the gym and hundreds of classes a week if that's your kind of thing - all included.

8.2 Miles for me this morning - was going to rest today but will do so tomorrow instead. Today was a lovely easy run in about 64 minutes although average heart rate was higher than normal - I think it must have malfunctioned at some point as it read 199 as my maximum and I don’t go above 160, even during reps.
Nightmare, SC! I imagine you will get decent compensation! And hope the op goes ahead as planned!

What: 2k jog this morning with no section longer than 300 metres! Then 2.2 miles on the a-g treadmill pm in just over 12 minutes @ 90% bodyweight
Why: suddenly realised that the treadmill may not be available during my physio slot so had a short run this morning...and then the treadmill was available but only for a short time. Am seeing consultant next Thursday so we were planning what to tell him.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.
Still hanging on and not gone to zzz yet. Filled in the details for the flight. Max is 600 Euros-not too shabby if paid- but takes 56 days to 6 months.
