Changing runs in marathon training plan.

I'm training for Brighton in April using the London marathon training plan.  The plan has me doing a half marathon in the first Sunday in March, but I'm thinking of doing it a week earlier as a very local half marathon falls on this date.  Will moving this run have a detrimental effect come the marathon itself?.  I have a good amount of long slow runs built up over the last year prior to starting marathon training.
